2025 Discussion between the WN School and Fuzoku JHS

Overview

WN students and Fuzoku JHS students will meet and discuss their videos. Like last year, WN students will have discussions with the homerooms at Fuzoku JHS. There will be a total of four breakout rooms on Zoom.

Advice

  • Watch the video of the group you will be having a discussion with beforehand
  • Before the discussion begins, test your equipment. Make sure that you are in quiet room.
  • When speaking to the students from other schools, speak clearly, loudly, and slowly.

February 3, 2025, 10:50 – 11:40 (Japan Time) 8:50 – 9:40 (Thailand Time)

Thailand : If possible, please be online with James from 8:30 so that we can ensure a smooth connect.

Procedures for each homeroom

Please make sure that you watch the other school’s videos BEFORE the discussion. You should watch the videos for your breakout room.

The Fuzoku JHS students will manage the conversation.

Each Breakout Room will proceed as follows

8:50 : Greetings and Explanation from James Hall after that, please enter your breakout room

8:55 Introduction (Teachers introduce themselves)

9:00 ~

Fuzoku JHS → WN School (15 minutes)

  • Fuzoku JHS Students give self-introductions
  • Ask questions about the WN videos
  • Ask general questions about WN, Bangkok, or Thailand.

WN School → Fuzoku JHS (15 minutes)

  • WN School Students give self-introductions
  • Ask questions about the Fuzoku JHS videos (I have a for Group (#) question about (topic) )
    • Each Fuzoku JHS page has a list of topics. Choose a topic from the list and ask a question about it.
  • Ask general questions about Fuzoku JHS, Morioka, or Japan
